Meet the Next Governor of RBI - Raghuram Rajan

As the present governor of RBI Mr. D. Subbarao is going to complete his 5 years term and retire on 5th September 2013 the Finance Ministry's office anounced that Mr. Raghuram Rajan will be the new  governor of RBI. Mr Rajan is presently working as the Chief Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, Government of India (from 10th August 201). He will be serving as the governor of Central Bank for 3 years. Mr Rajan will be the 23rd Governor of RBI.
