Good News friends, National Insurance Company Ltd has came out with the recruitment notification of Clerks / Assistants on behalf of all the four leading Public Sector General Insurance Companies (1. The New India Assurance Company Ltd, 2. Oriental Insurance Company Ltd, 3. United India Insurance Company Ltd, 4. National Insurance Company Ltd). 

There are 2600 Posts in total. 

National Insurance Company Limited would coordinate the written examination, thereafter, Interview and Computer Proficiency Test for the short-listed candidates would be conducted by each Company in their respective zones where their Head Office is situated (except in certain cases).

 Required Qualification :
  • Graduation  or
  • HSC/Equivalent (XII pass) examination with 60% marks (50% for Ex - servicemen, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities )
Note : Knowledge of the Regional Language (language of the state which you are applying for) is must

Important Dates :
  • Online Registration Starts from - 18th May 2013
  • Last Date for Online Registration - 12th June 2013
  • Payment of Application Fee - 18th May 2013 to 18th June 2013
  • Dates of Written Exam - 14/21st July 2013
  • Downloading the Call Letters for the Exam - From 11th July 2013

    LIC AAO exam review morning session...

    Reasoning as usual time consuming..
    inequalities lil bit tricky, syllogism three statements,floor ranking was quite easy, 8 persons 4 facing north 4 facing south ,8 languages given was very diff friends dont attend it 5 ques from it,D.S was easy...

    Quants veryy tough...
    one geometry sum,train,C.I,D.S
    approximate cal, exact valu, series veryyyy tough.. nt like banking

    english-easy (pattern same as our friends explained b4)

    Gk- not soo easy lot of ques from schemes, UAE accepts which curreny, IFRS, ESOP, awards based ques(1) etc

    Computer veryy easy cant tick atleast 25 for sure..

      Graduation is enough Arijit... If you are Graduate then they wont mind your percentage. You are eligible.

    Mam i have no idea about the exam. General awareness section similar to that of banking exams or not? And what about quantitative and reasoning sections?

      Yep its almost similar to bank clerical level Cyriac. The difficulty levels also will be little lower than bank exam. Concentrate more on current affairs for GA :)

      Now a days almost all competitive exams are considering Individual Cutoffs Vinnu. So even they dint mention it in the notification, maximum chances are there for Individual / Sectionalwise cutoffs...

    hii can i get the syllabus related to this national insurance exam related to general studies from which area will they ask questions only current affairs and knowledge related to banking and insurance or if it also includes phy,chem,hist,geo, plz answer and can u provide any previous papers related to this exam and also the material

      No need to prepare all that stuff Sahithi.. Just prepare Current Affairs. Try to learn basic things like Insurance terms, Countries and Currencies, Countries and Heads, Sports terms etc (we will try to provide you with quick reference guide for this exam). And concentrate on Budget 2013 as you may get 1 or 2 questions from this area. All the best.

      Difficulty level will be little lower than Bank Clerks Friend. And cant predict expected cutoffs now.

    hello madam,
    NIC has conferred for 2600 assistant posts, regarding this I have an query. I had filled up the application form but when uploading photo & signature, it is just showing below 20kb photo & 10kb signature, but Ihave sent my photo of 14kb & signature of 9kb.Is it problem of bank website or ??. Please help me out as 8 june is last date. thanku

      Please re check the sizes once friend. If you still getting the same problem then just open those image files in MS Paint and save them. It will reduce the size of the files. Hope it will work.

      Your photo should greater than 5kb and less than 20kb...You can change reduce your photo size by save the image as "save as for web" instead of "save as"..All the best..
