Friends, here is the brief review of today's (11-05-2013) LIC AAO Exam (Morning Section). We are thankful to Mr Ankur Maheshwari on behalf of our readers and team members for sharing his review along with the questions asked in today's LIC AAO exam with with us.

The difficult part of the overall paper was Aptitude. Remaining sectiosn are easier.


Reasoning :
Reasoning moderate paper.....Puzzle is tough.....
4 peple sitting opp and from different occupatation type
5 qu on sylloism....3 statement two conc type.....
6-7 qu on enequality....mostly either or
3 on blood relation
... 5 on giving data in two statement.....find are they able to get answer or not
2 on statement assumption
5 on puzzle
3 on rankink..........ok thats about reasonong....moderate tough do puzzle in last

Aptitude :
.....jaan nikal di
1 DI ka qu tha 5 qu based....mast calculation

5 on approximation easy
5 on series....find wrong one....i am able to do 2 only
5 on exact calculation.....damn tough....can not apply dr cause 3,6 or 9 is comming
reaning on time wrk speed time distance si and ci but calculation jyda thi
overall 21 kiye...

GK and Current Affairs :
current affairs 10-15
rates related but twisted 4 to 5
insurance 3-4
overall not easy i would say

cop easy normal ibps clerk type qu 27 aaempted

Overall paper is moderate..... you can score in reasonong

Reasoning  easy, comuter easy, eng easy, gk-avg, math little hard.
Ovarall gud paper.
I attempted 130 out of 160 with 90% accuracy.
Prob is that there is no question asked about lic.

I have just given my exam today ...............

In Quants ..........
I got 5 questions on one DI
5 number series questions
at least ten questions finding square roots, cube roots, missing numbers, 3/8th of 2/9th of 6/10 sort of questions ........

Father's age 8 years ago was 4 times that of his son
and father's age 8 years from present day is 2 times his son
present day father's age : son ??

Two cars A and B starting from M and N ........330 kms apart
A B travelling in opposite they meet after 3 hrs and and when they are travelling in the same side they meet after 10 hrs what is the speed of A ?????



In Reasoning :
5 syllogism both 2 and 3 statement
5 questions on one Floor arrangement
5 questions on one seating arrangement puzzle
5 data sufficiency ....... one blood relation, "<,>,= questions"

In GK
Author of Lolita novel and few banking and insurance related questions .........

Com Sci was easy and basic

English was tenth standard .....comprehensions, most similar, most opposite, fill in blank, grammatical mistakes,

Our Suggestions :
According to the reviews we have got the difficulty level of the paper was almost equal to clerks. So dont be confused and don't waste much time on any of the sections. Espicially for English... According to sources English section was very easy. But keep in mind that its just for qualifying purpose only... So don't waste much time on this section even if you know the answers for all questions.
For GK and Current Affairs section as they are not asking much questions from Insurance Sector (hardly 5 questions they are asking it seems) don't waste much time on this area, better concentrate more on Current Affairs.Refer to our current affairs quick reference guide and month wise current affairs questions.
