My interview was scheduled at 1 pm , but it happened around 5 pm, as the Scale 1 Officers(there were around 13 candidates) were interviewed first and i was third last in the Scale 2 Officers' (I guess there were 12 candidates) interview list.
Questions Asked:
What you did in previous project ?
What is your work profile in your current project ?
Why Scale 2 ? Why not Scale 1?
Which is bigger Scale 1 or Scale 2 ?
Why you wish to switch from IT to Banking Sector ?
Interview was nothing like i was expecting . It was more of an interaction between me and interviewers . They were nice and friendly. I was left with mixed feelings as the Interview lasted only for 5 minutes . They didn't assess me functionally or technically . Anyways lets hope for the best.
I guess there is minimal vacancy for the post of IT Officer Scale 2.
Advise for Banking Aspirants:
Don't be silent in waiting hall . It will build up the tension in you . Rather interact with the candidates who are with you . It will ease up the tension .(Trust me it will def help, I did the same thing :D , I was talking about movies, news & all stuffs .Who knows, you may end up making new friends :D ). Don't think too much . Keep your mind as blank as possible . Be well mannered in interview room . Be Open and Truthful .
Most Important of all, make sure that you carry all the necessary documents, If you don't they won't allow you to attend the interview . The people who were verifying the docs where telling that IBPS has instructed them to not take 'Letter of Undertaking' . People who failed to bring anyone of the documents where sent back home to bring the documents. Be pro active .
