  • A Mumbai court  extended the police custody of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team owner Gurunath Meiyappan till 31 May after it was told by the city crime branch that it wanted to confront him and actor Vindoo Randhawa, arrested in Indian Premier League (IPL) betting scandal, with a Chennai hotelier, also suspected of involvement in the case.
  • S Sreesanth's friend Abhishek Shukla was arrested  for allegedly removing evidence by hiding the cricketer's money and other articles. Mr Shukla has been taken to Mumbai for recovery of the articles.
