Our Analysis and suggestions to the people who are going to write the same exam on 14th October 2012 : As we expected, the exam was very easy (same as the previous SBI Clerical exam). People got some problem with the non verbal reasoning questions of the reasoning section and the first five questions of the aptitude section (as they gave decimal values to calculate). And we should keep in mind that these areas too were not such difficult ones. People faced problem and some people left these questions because these are lil time taking. And for English the standard was very low so you can easily solve the questions with little concentration.
Those people who are going to write the exam on 14th October.. please read about Olympics 2012 as this area may carry minimum 3 marks (you can read it Here) and the basics of the current events occur last 6 months (you can read them here). All The Best.

ReplyDeleteNo need to be discouraged Aiswarya... You are forgetting one thing here. If paper is tough means.. It will be tough for all. So obviously the cutoffs will be low.. So still you have good chances if you perform better in other areas :)

The pattern was same as the SBI Clerks. The difficulty level of Non Verbal reasoning was lil high (as we already mentioned above). And here is the seating arrangement Question they've asked.

ReplyDeleteWe are getting mixed reviews on yesterday's Paper. Just prepare last 5 month's GA perfectly (for September month you should read till 20th). And put more concentration on Olympics (Medal tally.. which medal won by which person.. etc.. better to know synopsis of the Indian Medal winners. Read about Fullforms, Days and Summits... thats enough.

DeleteI have attented sbi morning shift, its easy, but I dont hav much time in doing the QA section. Anit terrorism day -> rajiv gandhi assisaniation, paper is easy and u need time management. The only thing , i did not had time in completing and attenting the full QA Sections.

DeleteAnd The best thing I liked in you is, you know what your problem is.... Time Management. Well, keep one thing in mind. TIME is same for all the aspirants who are giving that exam. But you Don't have much time... That means you have wasted your time on QA (as you mentioned). Work hard and do well for the upcoming exams... Here are some tricks to improve your speed.
1. Learn byheart the maths tables upto 20 (so that you can avoid smaller calculations in exams)
2. Practice calculations daily by setting timer in your mobile. Just write some random numbers with random maths symbols on paper and try to solve them mentally. You can use our Speed Tests if you want.
3.Try to solve as many practice papers you can solve as possible.

There wont be Input Output arrangement for Clerks Nipun. Seating arrangement was easy, better do practice well on Non Verbal reasoning as the reviews are saying that these are lil difficult ones in the entire paper.

ReplyDeleteWell initially we've planned to post the marketing and computers questions of the exam held on 07-10-2012 noori. As the people from who we regularly get the previous papers are unable to give the papers this much early (due to copyright reasons)... we had to depend on the people who wrote the exam on that day. But those were saying different different questions. You can imagine the situation if we post 93 questions for the actual questions of 80. So to avoid confusion and misunderstandings we stopped posting those papers. Plz dont mind...

The sbi paper going to held on 14 october 2012 will be same as the paper held on 7th October Jass Brar. As they prepare all papers at once (I mean they set both the papers (7th oct and 14th october) on the same day. So you can expect the same pattern of questions (ofcourse the numbers may change, and same difficulty level).

Deleteit doesn't matter on difficulty level of questions....any institution in india if organizing exams in more shifts....there wud be scaling of marks..(method to equalize the marking of exam)....so not to worry...

ReplyDeleteAs far as I know the paper went easy Devika. Almost all are direct questions. You might have felt the paper tough because the questions came from the areas which you haven't covered. You will be in safe zone if you get 18+ marks.

ReplyDeleteYou are writing Common Written Exam (CWE) no? In the same way IBPS will call you people for interview according to your scores. And it will make a final list with the written marks and interview marks. According to that list banks will recruit you.

ReplyDeleteI dint say about the overall cutoff... I just said about GA. And for the remaining sections too the cutoff wont exceed 18 marks... The only problem is... the candidates get filtered at the time of Interview (due to low marks)

The finally selection depends on the highest marks secured by the candidates Naresh. Personally I feel 145 for SC is pretty good score. But you should do well for the interview. Prepare well for Interview from now onwards. All The Best.

DeleteFor any competitive exam, Current Affairs of 6 months before the exam are enough to prepare. Possibly the exam will be in March. So start preparing GA from September Month
