  • Reform - make changes in something in order to improve it
  • Deserves - if a thing deserves something such as your time or attention, you should give time or attention to doing it
  • Norm - an accepted standard or a way of behaving or doing things that most people agree with
  • Exception - someone or something that is not included in a rule, group, or list or that does not behave in the expected way
  • Affluent - rich enough to buy things for pleasure
  • Influential - able to influence the way other people think or behave
  • With ease -  the ability to do something easily
  • Languish -  to remain in a difficult or unpleasant situation for a long time
  • Trial - the process of examining a case in a court of law and deciding whether someone is guilty or innocent
