  • SPECTACULAR  -  beautiful in a dramatic and eye - catching way
  • PROTECTIONISM -  the theory or practice of shielding a country's domestic industries from                       foreign competition by taxing imports
  • SLEW - turn or slide violently or uncontrollably
  • PERSONNEL - people employed in an organization or engaged in an organized undertaking such as military service.
  • RHETORIC  -  language designed to have a persuasive or impressive effect, but which is often regarded as lacking in sincerity or meaningful content.
  • SCRAPPED  -  abolish or cancel (a plan, policy, or law).
  • JUNKING  -  discard or abandon unceremoniously

  • LEGISLATION - laws, considered collectively

  • SPUR -  a device with a small spike or a spiked wheel that is worn on a rider's heel and used for urging a horse forward.
  • OVERHAUL -  take apart (a piece of machinery or equipment) in order to examine it and repair it if necessary
  • DIALOGUE -  talk, communication, interchange, discourse, argument
