Arch-rivals India and Pakistan have been declared as joint winners of the 5th edition of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 after the final was forfeited due to heavy rain in Oman's Muscat. Both India and Pakistan have won the tournament twice before this edition. India's Harmanpreet Singh finished the edition as the second-highest scorer with six goals. Malaysia finished at the 3rd place after defeating Japan in the penalty shootouts in the bronze medal match. Malaysia's Faizal Saari was the top scorer of the tournament with 8 Goals.
