  • Ledger - a book that contains the financial records of a business
  • Deepening - increasing
  • Defence - the system of weapons, equipment, and people that is used to protect a country
  • Significant - very large or noticeable
  • Inaugural - an inaugural event is the first of a series, or the first one to be held by members of a new organization
  • Dialogue - a process in which two people or groups have discussions in order to solve problems
  • Compatibility -  the fact that different ideas or systems can exist together
  • Hotline - a direct telephone line that allows leaders of different governments to speak to each other in an emergency
