Axis Bank offers waiver of 12 EMIs under Shubh Aarambh Home Loans Scheme

The third largest private sector bank of India, Axis Bank today launched a new scheme titled "Shubh Aarambh Home Loans". Under this scheme, the Axis Bank will waive 12 equated monthly installments (EMIs) on regular repayments of loans of up to Rs 30 lakh .

Under this Shubh Aarambh scheme, customers with regular repayment will get 12 EMIs waived – 4 EMIs each after 4th, 8th and 12th year from the date of first disbursement. The effect of EMI waiver will be given in the form of reduction in the tenure of home loans.

The loans can be used to purchase an under-construction/ready/resale house, self-construction, and a plot plus construction.

Note : Customers also have the option to transfer existing home loans to Axis Bank without additional cost, according to Rajiv Anand, executive director, retail banking.
