Honoring the best films of the year 2016, the 89th Academy Awards ceremony, popularly known as OSCARS 2017 was today held at Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, U.S. This ceremony was presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). American television host, producer, writer, comedian Jimmy Kimmel hosted the show for the first time. American drama film Moonlight, directed by Barry Jenkins, has won 3 awards including Best Picture. With 6 awards, the American musical romantic comedy-drama film La La Land, written and directed by Damien Chazelle, has won most awards of the ceremony. Casey Affleck won the Best Actor Award for 'Manchester By The Sea' and Emma Stone walked away with the Best Actress Award for her performance in 'La La Land'.
