Hello!

I am Sunanda Ghosh from West Bengal. Today I am going to share my story with all of you.
I am a general candidate. I have done B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering in 2015. In the final year I got placed in two leading IT companies of our country. But I decided not to join any of them because I always wanted to join a bank.

So I started preparing for bank exams. The first exam I appeared for was SBI PO 2015 but failed to clear the preliminary exam. The cut off was 47.5. I got 41.75 in just two month’s preparation. I felt very bad but at the same time I understood that I have the capability to crack bank exams and with a little more effort I can do it.

At the beginning I was not getting any clue on how to increase my score. Then I analyzed what was lacking in my preparation, worked on those. I attempted more and more mock tests and kept on improving my score everyday. At last I made my own strategy of time management.

Then I appeared for IBPS PO V,cleared the preliminary exam, the main exam, and appeared in the interview.

Then, IBPS Clerk V. Here also I cleared the preliminary exam and the main exam.
Finally I appeared for IBPS Specialist Officer (IT Officer Scale I) V. I cleared the written exam and gave the interview.

Meanwhile waiting for the result I became a little bit tensed. I was thinking that everyone has been preparing for 2-3 years. And they are elder than me also. Shall I be able to crack any one of the exams I have given this year?
Finally the result has come.
I have not cleared IBPS PO. My score is 45.5.
I have not cleared IBPS Clerk. My score is 74.63 (Cut off for West Bengal is 75.63).

But
I  HAVE CLEARED IBPS  SO (IT Officer Scale I). My score is 68.40.
I have been allotted in the Allahabad Bank, my first priority.
Though this year vacancy for IT Officer for General candidate was 377 only yet  I have been able to crack it in my first attempt. And I am 22 years old only.
I have also cleared the LIC AAO written exam and many more to come in future..

Now I understand one thing. Age, seniority do not matter in bank exams. Only three things matter:
  • DETERMINATION
  • PRACTICE and
  • ACCURACY
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.
I AM ONE AMONG YOU. IF I CAN, YOU ALSO CAN.
NEVER LOSE HOPE.
HAVE  FAITH  IN  YOU AND KEEP PRACTICING.
ALL THE BEST.
