National Affairs
  • Prime Minster Narendra Modi will inaugurate three day 7th Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar tomorrow.
    • United Nation’s Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and United States Secretary of state Mr. John Kerry are among host of leaders visiting the Summit.
    • US Secretary of State Mr. John Kerry is leading 150 members strong delegation as US is the partner country for the first time along with several other nations.
People in News
  • BJP‬ leader Subramanian Swamy says he is convinced that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had not died in air crash in Taiwan in 1945 and the Centre will release secret files relating to his death sometime in the future.
    • Swamy said at a programme in New Delhi that America had given it in writing to the Mukherjee Commission, which probed Netaji's disappearance, that there was no record of any plane crash and no record of any charred body in any hospital in Taiwan.
    • Swamy said he would pursue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release the files from government records.
  • One of the suspects in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case and former international arms procurer for the LTTE, Kumaran Pathmanathan is missing and is reported to have escaped from Sri Lanka yesterday.
    • This was stated by Rajitha Senaratne, who is a close associate of President Maithripala Sirisena and a member of parliament.
    • Pathmanabhan was rehabilitated by the Rajapaksa government and was running an orphanage in Killinochchi in Sri Lanka. An Interpol arrest warrant is pending against Pathmanabhan.

    • The day is commemorated every year with the objective to promote use of Hindi language abroad.
    • The First World Hindi Conference was organized in Nagpur, India on January 10, 2006.
    • Since then every year 10th January is being observed as the World Hindi Day.

  • Former Planning Commission Secretary Sindhushree Khullar was today appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the newly formed NITI Aayog.

  • UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is on 4 day visit to India.

    certificate validity will be april 1 to march 31st of next year. would be better if date is between 1.4.14 to last date for applying.

    It was OK but not good...
    They will check the documents in one auditorium and then send u for interview..
    There will be 2 person in interview panel..
    They will ask u some personal question, current affairs, it will only take 8-10 min per interview...

    There is no such thing as category..
    They pick question related to u ur family member ur work current news etc.. If u family member is a govt employee they may ask question about that.. Keep a track on current news till ur interview.. Day to day.. Learn about banking RBI.. There will be few question from that..
