Review of IBPS IV PO Exam (2nd November 2014) 2nd Shift

Hello friends,

Siddharth Jain here. I gave IBPS PO 2nd November paper afternoon shift. Overall, Paper was Moderate-to-Difficult. Detailed Analysis is as below:

1. Quantitative Aptitude - There were 2 DI long sets, 1 set of 1 DI question and 1 puzzle set was also there. Other questions were from Geometry(3-4), 1-1 ques. from Time & Work, Time & Distance, Profit & Loss, Partnerships, etc. Some easy questions were also there along with some time consuming questions. Overall, This section was moderate to difficult.

2. Reasoning - In this section, there was 1 very tough time consuming set of sitting arrangement, 2-3 puzzle sets were also there of moderate difficulty but time consuming, 5-6 syllogisms were there. Overall, this section was tricky, difficult and time consuming.

3. English - In this section, 2 big comprehensions were there of 10 questions each of Moderate level. 1 set of Cloze set was there of easy-to-moderate level. Overall, this section was of moderate level.

4. General & Banking Awareness - This section was the most difficult in the entire paper. Mostly questions were of difficult level from Banking industry. Some current affair questions were also there such as-

1. Which co. separated its business into two units? HP 
2. Open market Operation is regulated by?
3. Major investor of Bhartiya Mahila Bank?
4. Which bank has a tagline of "Faithful & Friendly financial partner"? Syndicate Bank
5. Kuchipudi dance is from which state?

5. Computer Awareness : This section was the easiest among all. Basic Computer questions were there. This section was of easy level.
