For case 1 if some roses are to be plants then the plants(at least some) should definitely be flowers as all roses are flowers in statemnt 1.....for case 2: as in stmnt 2 some sunflors are leaves it doesn't mean that no relation b/n sunflower and roses,there may be some relation as all roses are leaves....u can clearly understand by drawing venn dia
