Staff Selection Commission has apologized for 2 Inappropriate Questions in SSC CGL Re-Exam 2013

The Staff Selection Commission has released an apology notice about the 2 controversial questions which were appeared in the SSC CGL Re-Exam 2013 dated 20th July 2014. According to reports, in the SSC CGL Re-Exam which was held in Kerala on 20th July 2014, there was a question asked based on Bollywood. It read, "Who among the following actresses is the tallest in height ?" With the options "(a) Huma Qureshi (b) Katrina Kaif (c) Deepika Padukone (d) Preity Zinta." The very next question to it also seemed irrelevant (Check image below).

This led to a frenzy on Twitter with people posting all sorts of comments mocking the state govt and the Women's Commission has demanded an explanation for the "gender insensitive" question paper. The SSC has agreed to the demands of the Women's Commission that the two controversial questions not be considered for evaluation. 

In a  notice released by SSC today, the  commission has stated that, it  has looked into the matter and is of the view that the two questions are improper and should not have been included. The Commission has already issued instructions that the two questions will not be taken into account for evaluation.
