  • US Deputy Secretary of State William J. Burns met Sushma Swaraj; discussed forthcoming Indo-US strategic dialogue.
  • Typhoon Neoguri slammed into Japan's southern main island early on Thursday after lashing the Okinawa island chain, with three people killed as powerful winds and torrential rains battered the country.
  • The BRICS group of emerging giants are expected to sign a deal next week to open their own development bank by 2016, Russia's finance minister said. The entity would be called "New Development Bank", with each BRICS member to contribute US$2 billion to its capital, Anton Siluanov said, according to Russian news agencies.

  1. Respected Mam, It would be better if you provide current affairs notes in Question-Answer format like you gave in marketing aptitude. Its easy to remember in Q&A format. Not complaining. Just thinking about it. Others may not prefer it. My exam is on 20th. Can you tell me from which month I should refer current affairs?
