UPSC Engineering Services Examination Notification 2014 out

Good News friends, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the notification of Engineering Services Examination (ESE) for the year 2014. Eligible Indian Graduates can apply online from 22nd March 2014 to 21st April 2014 from the UPSC's website www.upsconline.nic.in. There are 582 Posts in total (including 24 PH) The exam will be held on 20th June 2014. Check complete details below.

Name of the Recruitment Examination : Engineering Services Examination 2014

Categories :
  • Category I - Civil Engineering
  • Category II – Mechanical Engineering
  • Category III – Electrical Engineering
  • Category IV - Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Application Fee : 
  • No Application Fee for SC / ST / PH / Female Candidates
  • Rs. 200/- for Others
Qualification :
Candidates must possess any of the below mentioned qualification

  • Engineering Degree from a recognized university
  • Qualified Section A and B of the Institution Examination of the Institution of Engineers (Indian)
  • Degree/ Diploma in Engineering from recognized foreign University/ Institute/ College
  • Passed Association Membership Examination Parts- II & III/ Section A & B of the Aeronautical Society of India
  • Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London Held after November, 1959

      Suneetha, why bother about number of attempts. When you are prepared enough to give a best shot. If you are confident and prepared, your trial will definitely be a success.

    Yes computer science graduate are also eligible.But questions will not belong to computer science.

      ENGINEERS SHOULD GO THROUGH NOTIFICATION BEFORE ASKING..
      UPSC CLEARLY MENTIONS THAT ANY ENGINEERING GRADUATE CAN APPLY.
      ITS NOT YOUR FAULT, ITS A FAULT OF LOW BRAND COLLEGE.
