IBPS Clerks III Interview Experiences - Chennai

Hi friends, I am Parimala Devi. Today (10-02-2014) I've attended the IBPS Clerks III Common Interview at Chennai  (Afternoon Session). Here is my Interview Experience. Hope it helps...

Name : Parimala Devi

Qualification : B.Sc - Computer Technology

Interview Venue - Chennai

Reporting Time - 1:00 PM

Document verification started at 4 pm. I got my turn by 4:30. I entered the room at 4.30 and wished them and they asked me to sit.
There are 4 members in my interview pannel. 1 female and 3 male.


They asked questions in local language (Tamil)

M3 - Asked wats ur parents doing
F - Asked about my home town.
M1 - Asked wat is current account.
M4 - yOUR qualification is B.Sc Computers, then why you choose Banking?
He also asked about Net Banking.

I answered all the questions politely.

Then M2 gave me a Local Language News Paper and asked me to read it.

Later they asked me to write something in My Local language. I started writing about my hometown, I wrote only three lines, they said its enough and asked me to leave.

    Hi Maam I dont have prov certificate for PG but have it for graduation only, I entered PG marks in the application form. Will it be an issue?

    Hi.. I just need a clarification. I entered my Full name in Application form as Sumathipriya. But, in all my certificates my name is as Sumathipriya P along with the initials. Will it create any problem?? Please reply me. I have interview by tomorrow. I am frm Tamil Nadu.

      u hv to submit an affidavit.. else u wont be able to attnd the interview...

      It's not an issue,don't worry and make sure that you enter your name as it is printed in your school marksheet hereafter.

    Mam,during exam I had submitted my passbook photocopy as identity proof. Would there be any problem with that? (while appearing for interview).
    I dnt hv any other ID.

      Carry same passbook in interview with photocopy

    I had entered my name along with my father's name in the app. form. I have interview on 14th, in cbe. should i get an affidavit? or is this not an issue?. how to get an affidavit for this?

    hii my doubt is regarding affidavit submition.. i have also wrongly entered my name. .. can some one tel on What amount of affidavit we have to made (10 rs , 20 or 100)... are ibps is giving their own format of affidavit or we have to carry our own..

    Hi Friends..
    Good Day…! pls clarify me } i have Interview on 18 feb at Bangalore...
    in my SSLC & PUC mark sheet my father name is mentioned as SHIVASHANKAR T S, but I have mentioned in IBPS Application form as SHIVASHANKAR BHATT T S (In middle sur name added) because in all my govt reg ID like in my ID Proof ,Bank passbook , ADHAR, PAN, VOter ID is as SHIVASHANKAR BHATT T S only. is it ok to show them as my ID Prroof as like same name appeared in Appli form OR it will create any problem while Document checking..kindly advice, THANKS in advance…
