One week before I’ve started my preparation. My friend’s helped me a lot in guiding me for the interview. I’m very thankful to them!! :)

Hmmm!! Finally the day came I started from Nizamabad (my home town) @ 5am and reached the interview venue at Hyderabad by 9am. Reporting done and I was waiting for certificate verification. Done with verification @ 1pm and waited for a long time for my turn!!

After having lunch @ 2pm I was waiting for my turn to come. They called me @ 4pm. I was much tensed. :( Had some water and entered the room. There were 4 panel members.

ME : Excuse me Si,r and wished them.
P: Yes come in. Take your seat.
ME : Thank You Sir’s.

P: So you’re Madhusree. What is the meaning of your name?
ME: Madhu means “Sweetness” Sir and Sree means “Goddess Laxmi Devi” name Sir.

P: What is your qualification?
ME: B-TECH Sir in a stream of C.S.E.

P: So you have a good percentage then you can go for software field. Why you want to join Banking?
ME: Yes Sir, but I want to settle in service sector. Banking is the large growing service sector and provides Job security.

ME: It is a system software Sir, which acts as an interface between user and computer hardware. (Explained my answers by looking at all the panel members)

P: What are the qualities of a Banker?
ME: Banker must have patience Sir because different kind of customer will come to bank so we have to handle them carefully and knowledge of computer. (I was trying to explain each and every quality but they interrupted and suggested me “just say the qualities”)

  3. Speed and Accuracy
  4. Knowledge of computer
P : You are not telling the most important quality?
ME: I said Math’s and thinking... they gave a hint then I got it and said “Trust and Honest” (they looked satisfied)  :)

P: Women can’t handle both Job and House successfully this is my opinion. What do you say?
ME: No Sir, It depends on the individual capabilities but it is not an impossible task. We can handle it if we plan properly.

P: So how will you manage? To which you give the importance?
ME: I will give equal importance to both Sir, because both are important in life.

P: What is Women Empowerment?
ME: Development of women in the all field is called W.E. In olden days the women are in particular fields only but now women are equally in all the fields to men.

P: So what is Gender Equality?
ME: Providing equal rights for women equal to men.

P: He said Gender Equality is nothing but Women Empowerment. Do you think Women Empowerment achieved completely?
ME: No Sir, It is yet to achieve because in some rural areas child marriages are still going on and urban areas also lack of education for girls.

P: So what are the solutions for this? (Punch) :)
ME: I was unable to explain properly and said parents must be educated.

  5. Thank you Madhusree for sharing your experiences with us. I was just wondering that since your background is Engineering, you must have put in a lot of efforts to prepare about banking in general and RRBs in particular. However, the panel didn't cover that. May be they evaluated your personality and found your appropriate and positive (you've a decent score too), so I guess you stand a good chance for selection. Good luck!
