Review of today's IBPS PO Exam :
The overall paper was hard I must say (but it was little easier when compared to the last year's one. This may be because they are conducting the online exam for the first time ). The overall paper was little time consuming and confusing. Read questions twice before marking the answers as almost all the options are little tricky, I mean you easily tend to mark wrong answers if you don't read and understand the question properly.
Reasoning : It was easy I must say when compared to other sections. There are no diagram questions (non verbal reasoning). Seating arrangement was there but the questions are tricky.
Aptitude : This was tough. Concentrate more on Data Interpretation. Remaining sections are just ok. You should be perfect at calculations (speed maths) to solve this paper in time. So practice well.
No direct questions from apti and reasoning. So you just can't solve them by preparing basics. You really have to do practice.
English : Overall paper was ok but Comprehension was tough.
Computer Knowledge : This section was easier for me as I was from computer background. I could find some questions from networking background. If you are a computer's graduate then you can easily qualify this section. For others it will be little problematic I guess.
Computer Knowledge : This section was easier for me as I was from computer background. I could find some questions from networking background. If you are a computer's graduate then you can easily qualify this section. For others it will be little problematic I guess.
Banking and Financial Awareness : I felt this section is not upto the standard of Probationary Officers. Some difficult questions are there but most of them are direct questions. Half from Banking and Half from General Awareness. One question from budget, one from plans (yojana's), Gk, 2 questions from present bank rates, full forms etc.
As I mentioned above, overall paper was not such easier I must say, I've attended only 120 questions. Hope my review help you people in your preparation. Thank you Gr8AmbtionZ for the help. I request you to please concentrate on Seating Arrangement problems. All the Best all..
You can share your reviews in the comments section below :) All the Best

ReplyDeleteOverall tough exam. U might have to read qns twice. qns were very lengthy in all sectors, but thankfully there was no 'None of these' in QA! General Awareness was 50% out of banking and finance. Syllogism, coded inequality were having 4 to 5 statements and 4 conclusions. QA had nearly 4 Data Interpretations.
