Correct the Following Sentences :

1. He Stays in Delhi.
2. I am belonging to Nagpur.
3. Shreya Ghoshal is singing very well.
4. I not understand English.
5. I can able to speak English.
6. He does many mistakes in English.
7. I don't know English well. Why, because I came from Hindi Medium. 
8. I afraid to speak English.
9. I am Dr. Subash Rao.

Now take a paper and write the correct sentences. After that check answers given below.

Answers : 

He Stays in Delhi.

Here stays is wrong.  You should use Lives.

There is a slight difference in to Stay and to Live. 

To live usually suggests long term or indefinite residence; to stay implies short term, residence.
In simple words 

staying ---> temporary (like hotel rooms, hostels, small areas of towns etc)

living --> permanent (like cities, towns, villages etc)

I am belonging to Nagpur.

belong never take ing form

it should be I belong to Nagpur

Shreya Ghoshal is singing very well.

Shreya Ghoshal is a famous singer. She is singing very well means "she is singing very well now, but not other times". Its not like that. So you should say "Shreya Ghoshal sings very well"

Note : If a person known by you who is not a good singer, but now singing well, then you can use He / She is singing very well now. 

I not understand English. 

Correct form :

I do not understand English.

They do not understand English. 

He does not understand English.

She does not understand English.

I can able to speak English.

Can and able to don't come together. 

you can say, I can speak English or I am able to speak English. 

He does many mistakes in English.

People make mistakes. Not do mistakes. 

you can say, He made many mistakes in English / He make many mistakes in English

I don't know English well. Why, because I came from Hindi Medium. 

Why, because cannot come together.

 

I afraid to speak English.

I'm afraid of speaking English (afraid of + verb + ing form)

I am Dr. Subash Rao.

Its not good way to mention Dr., Mr, Sir etc before your name while you are talking about yourself. You can say I am Subash Rao and I am a Doctor instead. 

Note : In some cases there are exceptions for women from above rule. Women can say I am Mrs so and so or I am miss so and so depending on conversation.  But men shouldn't use Mr or Dr while introducing themselves to others.
