Name : Ramya jeyaraman

Date : 20.03.2013

Time : 8:30 am

Degree :BE, CSE

My experience in ibps common interview was nice. They were checking certificates first and asked to wait for the interview. Many of the aspirants forgot to bring their individual mark-sheets of each semester (graduation) and they got tensed at last moment during verification. So try to arrange the necessary docs and keep it safe.

Reach the panel before twenty to thirty minutes to make  yourself comfortable.
While entering the panel i just asked permission and greet them and they asked me to sit.

Questions asked In the Interview :

They Asked about my family background
Tell me about yourself.
What s sebi ?
What do u know about banking ?
Are you not over qualified ?
Do you have any work experience?
questions from rbi.
What s Neft n rtgs
What are the types of account
What s the recent news regarding agriculture and bank?
What's the purpose of cm visit
To tanjore (Tamil nadu )(current affairs ).
Can you join anywhere ?
They gave newspaper and asked me to read.also they asked question from that

Finally they asked what are your other interests and asked some questions regarding that too.
the interview lasts for about 25-30minutes depends upon the panel and the interviewers.

If you are a distinction student right from your schoolings,i think they are testing more.
Just be confident and face it.according to me they are checking our communication skill, eye contact to everyone in the panel, attitude and some basic bank knowledge.

I think the information available in this website s more than enough for basic bank knowledge to crack the interview.

lets hope for the best to get selected.

my best wishes to everyone...

We are very thankful to Ramya Jeyaraman on behalf of our readers and team members for her contribution, detailed analysis and valuable suggestions. We wish her great success in her interview.
