Friends, here is the Interview Experience of State Bank of India (SBI) Assistants (Phase II) which was held yesterday (2nd Jan 2012). So friends here is my first interview experience of my life………..

SBI interview phase-ii in lucknow…… 

Name  : Swapnil Gupta

Qualification : B.COM FROM LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY 

Interview date : 2nd January 2013

Panel : 1

Interview time : 9:AM

Interview venue : Lucknow

After document verification my number is at 10 slot……..  So spend lot of tym dere talking wid lots of aspiirants... One thing to say guys mahendra yaar hr jagah students bhare hai kya iske hahahah jst a joke……..

1.30 pm bell rings and now my turn to go to the room……………

There were 3 members in the panel…. Ofcourse there are supposed to be 4 members but  the chcking panel informed us that due to some reasons one member was not dere…….. 2 men and 1 woman.

After entering into the room and placed myself on seat the masti session starts…

Male 1 :  hw r u???/                                    answered fyn sir…..

Male 1:  wats ur name meaning??               Answered……..

(sm debate abt dis topic start as ur zodiac sign nd all…….)

Male 1: wats ur father doing????///                      answered ……….

(lots of cross questioning as my father is a business man nd doing printing work….. So once again  a slight debate cms dere……….)

Male 1: sm questions abt my family???///

Den abt my dob/……. As it was 4th sept….. So why is it famous for???///

I replied Lance Klusner’s birthday…….. They all smiled at this answer. And M1 asked who is he?

I said : south african retired allrounder cricketer

Den I said knws abt 5 sept. Den some  questions. About that….. Like…..

Famous for what???/     Teachers Day of india

What happened at that day?……    s. radhakrishnan was born

Who was s radhakrishnan??/   former president of india

Which no. President he was?…….  2^nd no.

Who was the first president?…..    Dr. Rajendra Prasad

Den the first question i cnnt answer came….. Who is the first chief minister of u.P?//

(sm chat abt dat too……..) ryt ans is govind vallabh pant

Den turns to my hobby as i wrote cricket nd reading religious books…….

So in cricket abt in which field u play i answered….. As an allrounder…….. Except wicket keeping…

Den he asked who is indian wicketkeeper at dat time?…….. I answered……..

Tell me the name of three famous wicketkeepers of indian cricket team in past……..

I answered syed kirmani kiran more and  nayan mongia…….

At present syed kirmani is on which post……. I answered selection panel

(religious questions………….) i said reading gita nd ramayan

Who is marich???? Answered……… is he a brahmin?…….. Answered……….

Who is bhelni… ???? Answered   In previous birth who was she?/// Couldn’t answer it…..

(sm small arguing in dis topic abt marich whethr  its gud r bad dnt knw…….)

Female  mem.  Turns come…… what is an organisation ????// answered

What is mis???/// nt answered (sm discussion abt dat as its nt read r knwn by me as in xii )

What is accounting standards????  Answered……. How many…… answered bt wrng……

What is accounting concept…..  Answered

Then again male 1 u r frm lucknow so u knw hazratganj what is dat…. Answered…….(guys dis was  the weakest part of myn in whole interview)

Kiske naam pe padha.///////// iska pehle kya naam tha……… begum hazrat mahal kaun thi………. Nd kya kia unhone…….. 1857 revolt me…….. Nd sm more questions cnt able to recall…………

Nw female  mem. Tell me any events happened in 2012??? Asked abt which events economic summits r sports……  member replied Any of those.. Like olympics an all…….. Answered……….

Now male : 2 what is contingent liability???/// answered wid example………..

Now why allahabad is in news?/// answered bcas of kumbh….. Male 1 cross questing which kumb……  purn kumbh ardh kumbh……… cnt able to ans.

Male ; 2……. Fr after hw many years kumbh festival celebrates??// answered

Nw tell me any three cities  situated bank of river ganga…… answered………..

Den abt…… only up cities………. (i answered haridwar allahabad nd kanpur previously )

Male 1 one very famous up city?/////  i answered banaras

Why it is called banaras????//  cnt answered  (thought yaar sari aur paan ke liye famous hai bt iska naam banaras iski wajah se to pada ni hoga….. Bt bola ni mai…….)

Den…… sm abt previous name kashi….  I answered wid cnfidently…… nd some more question related to dat…

Capital of bihar……. Who is cm of bihar…. Nd previously which name it was called/……

Patna. ………………..  Nitish kumar…………… nd patliputra………

Analysis of the Interview from Swapnil :

Friends, I just want to say you one thing. They were just judging my confidence levels. I was not able to answer all the questions bt the board was so friendly……

Male member 1 cross questioning a lot…….  At evry question………. So you should expect one person like this from every pannel.

Yaar jo log kehte hai interviewer bahut hard strict and all hote hai pehle interview me to sab hans rhe the lols. Hahaha

I did my best and Lets hope for the best…………

Suggestions to Aspirants :

Stay cool and don't be nervous at all...... for clerks this works. but in PO one thing for sure they will concentrate more on your professional knowledge… so study well nd clear your basic concepts and  prepare well from your Educational knowledge… and most importantly Economy Related Questions…….
