The Tamilnad Merchantile Bank Ltd (TMB Ltd), having its banking services with 300 branches all over india since 1921 is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Clerks. The starting date of Registering Online E- Application is 28th November 2012 adn the closing date of Registering Online E- Application is 20th December 2012. Last Date for Physical Document Submission is 25th December 2012. No IBPS Score is required for this recruitment. 

Eligibility Criteria :

For Non - Engineering Candidates : A Graduate (Arts, Commerce & Science)with minimum of 50% marks or a Post Graduate, from a recognized University in regular college course with knowledge in Computer Operations.

For Engineering Candidates : An Engineering Graduate with 55% marks from a recognized University in regular college course with knowledge in Computer Operations.

Maximum Age : Upto 24 Years for Graduates and Upto 26 Years for Post Graduates (As of 30th September 2012) for MBC / BC / OBC will be 2 years. Relaxation for SC / ST / Physically Handicapped will be 5 years.

Cut Off Date of Birth for Under Graduates:

• For General: Date of Birth on or after - Oct. 01, 1988
• For MBC / BC: Date of Birth on or after - Oct. 01, 1986
• For SC / ST / PH: Date of Birth on or after - Oct. 01, 1983

Cut Off Date of Birth for Post Graduates :

• For General: Date of Birth on or after - Oct. 01, 1986
• For MBC / BC: Date of Birth on or after - Oct. 01, 1984
• For SC / ST / PH: Date of Birth on or after - Oct. 01, 1981

Application Fee : 

Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 300.00 (Rs. 150.00 for SC / ST Candidates) by way of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. Payable at Thoothukudi / Tuticorin or Tirunelveli.

Application Procedure :

The candidate must first register in the bank website and should apply online (check details below), later they SHOULD submit a hard copy of the application which is printed after online registration and it should be accompanied with a demand draft of Rs. 300.00 (Rs. 150.00 for SC / ST Candidates) drawn in favour of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. payable at Thoothukudi / Tuticorin or Tirunelveli.

Selection Procedure :

The candidates should appear for an ONLINE Objective Type Examination to be held at Chennai, Madurai, Salem, Tirunelveli, Trichy and Thoothukudi centres. The date, Time and Venue of Online Test will be communicated to the eligible candidates individually by post. The Online Examination will be of objective type. After evaluation, on the basis of the Online Test, candidates will be short listed for a personal interview in the order of merit.
