Forbes the American business magazine owned by Forbes, Inc., has released its Annual List of the 400 Rrichest Americans on this Wednesday (Dt 19th September 2012). Bill Gates, the former chief executive and current chairman of Microsoft, the world’s largest personal-computer software company topped the list with $66B. Warren Buffet, The American business magnate, investor, and philanthropist occupied the 2nd Place with $46B. There are 45 Women on the list. According to Jenna Goudreau of Forbes, most of these women hold the majority of their wealth in companies they built or inherited. At the top of the list of Richest Women (but ranked 6th in the overall list of richest Americans) is Christy Walton, daughter-in-law of Sam Walton (the founder of WalMart). Ranking in second place (eighth overall) is Alice Walten, daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton. Two more women from the Walton family landed in 79th and 100th place in the overall list — Ann Walton Kroenke and Nancy Walton Laurie.
