  • Rallying - to (cause to) come together in order to provide support or make a shared effort
  • Viable - able to work as intended or able to succeed
  • Antipathy - a strong feeling of not liking someone or something
  • Alliance - an arrangement between two or more people, groups, or countries by which they agree to work together to achieve something
  • Constituent - one of the parts that form something when they combine
  • Vote bank - a large group of voters from a single community who always support a particular party or candidate in elections
  • Prospect - the possibility that something will happen, especially something good
  • Negligible - very unimportant or small
  • Ambition - something that you very much want to do, usually something that is difficult to achieve
  • Circumstance - a fact or condition that affects a situation
  • Coalition - a temporary union of different political parties that agree to form a government together
  • For instance - for example
  • Disparate - different in every way
  • Dump -  to get rid of someone or something that you no longer want or need
  • Dissident - someone who disagrees publicly with a government, especially in a country where this is not allowed
  • Faction - a small group within a larger group, consisting of people with different opinions from the rest
  • Bring together - to create a situation in which people meet and do something together, especially when they would not usually do so
  • Cohesive - combining
  • Well-defined - clearly shown or explained
  • Antipathy - a strong feeling of not liking someone or something
  • Epic - an event or activity that lasts a long time and is sometimes difficult or complicated
  • Aspirant - someone who very much wants to achieve something
  • Narrow - very small
  • Margin - the amount by which a competition or election is won
  • Victorious - having won a competition or battle
  • Eventual - happening or existing at the end of a process or period of time
  • Gallant - a gallant effort, attempt, or fight is one in which you try very hard, but do not succeed
  • Endurance - the ability to continue doing something physically difficult or continue dealing with an unpleasant situation for a long time
  • Formidable - very impressive in size, power, or skill and therefore deserving respect and often difficult to deal with
  • In the reckoning - being/not being considered for a job or position
  • Rivalry - a situation in which people, teams, businesses etc compete with one another
  • Nucleus -  the central or basic part of something
  • Cluster - a series of events of the same type
  • Vital - very important, necessary, or essential
  • Flourish - to be very successful
  • Premier - best, largest, or most important
  • Reclaim -  to get something back that someone has taken from you
  • Injury - physical damage done to a person or a part of their body
  • Unavoidable - impossible to stop from happening
  • Potential - someone's or something's ability to develop, achieve, or succeed
  • Tame - to control something dangerous or powerful
  • Rallied - if a player or team rallies, they improve and start to play well after playing badly
  • Resurgence - the start of something again that quickly increases in influence, effect etc
  • Dwell on something - to spend a lot of time thinking or talking about something unpleasant
  • Regretfully - with sad or sorry feelings
  • Unprecedented - never having happened or existed before
  • Podium - a small raised area where someone stands to give a speech or conduct an orchestra
  • Wounded - feeling emotional pain
  • Credentials - personal qualities, achievements, or experiences that make someone suitable for something
  • Owe - to have something only because someone or something has helped you
  • Heroics - very brave and impressive actions
  • Deprive - if you deprive someone of something, you take it away from them or prevent them from having it
  • Exceptional - extremely good or impressive in a way that is unusual
  • Enrich - to make something better or more enjoyable
