Friends, the Union Public Service Commission has released the prestigious
CDS (Combined Defense Services Examination) - I written exam 2014 results, which was held on
9th February 2014. You can check your result from the UPSC's website
www.upsc.gov.in or from below link. This written test is conducted twice an year by UPSC, for the recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. This written exam has three different tests namely English, General Knowledge and Mathematics. The ratio of candidates shortlisted for the examination per vacancy is 1:17.92. In total
9122 candidates qualified in the CDS Exam 2014. These candidates will be interviewed by the service selection board of the ministry of defense, for admissions into
- Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 138th Course commencing in January, 2015
- Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Course commencing in January, 2015
- Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre - Flying) Training Course for 197 th F(P) Course commencing in January, 2015
- Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai, 101 st SSC Course (for Men) commencing in April, 2015 and
- Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai, 15 th SSC Women (Non -Technical) Course commencing in April, 2015
