- Unprecedented - never having happened or existed before
- Crisis - an urgent, difficult, or dangerous situation
- Judiciary - the part of government that consists of all the judges and courts in a country
- Accountability - a situation in which people know who is responsible for something and can ask them to explain its state or quality
- Compromise - to risk harming or losing something important
- Confrontation - a situation in which people or groups are arguing angrily or are fighting
