Year-wise Vacancy Details of IBPS PO Recruitment (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019)

Hi friends, I am Laukik Golatkar. Here I am sharing the year wise vacancy details of IBPS PO recruitment. Please keep in mind that I am sharing these details to make all the IBPS PO X aspirants work more harder, not to discourage anybody. If you clearly observe, the total number of posts have been gradually decreasing from IBPS PO I to IBPS PO X. This year there are only 1167 posts. There is no official data available about the total number of selected candidates for IBPS PO I and PO II. So here I will try to compare the total number of candidates recruited via IBPS Probationary Officers CWE from IBPS PO III to IBPS PO IX. The years I have mentioned here are of provisionally allotments (mostly in the month of April). Happy Reading :)

Vacancy Details of IBPS PO IX

As you know, this year for IBPS PO X, the vacancies are very less compared to previous years' notifications. The total indent for IBPS PO X is around 1167 candidates. Last year, i.e., in 2019, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released notification of IBPS PO IX for the recruitment of 4336 vacancies.

For IBPS PO VIII Recruitment, there were only 4102 vacancies. For IBPS PO VII there were only 3562 Probationary Officers posts. Check below table for remaining years' vacancies.

For IBPS PO IV, they have shortlisted a total of 48500 candidates for interviews and picked one-third of them for the final selection i.e., 16721 candidates.

For the IBPS PO V, they have shortlisted a total of 40763 candidates for interviews and 12434 candidates among them could get the jobs.

Lets talk about this year

Approximately, around 25 lac people will be applying for IBPS PO X Recruitment. Nearly 2 lac among them will clear prelims and around 4 thousand will be selected for interviews. So, you should be in those 4k people to get into your dream job.
