International Affairs
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Three Nation Visit (10-day visit) to Myanmar, Australia and Fiji today.
    • "India looking forward to discuss strategy for stregthening of international norms and regional cooperation for peace and stability", he said.
  • Modi today met the President of Myanmar, Mr. U Thein Sein, at the Presidential Palace, shortly after arrival in Nay Pyi Taw (capital city of Burma).
    • This was the first meeting between the two leaders, and focus was on connectivity, cultural contacts and commercial ties, during the 45-minute meeting.
  • 56 people were killed and several injured today morning, following a collision between a bus and a trawler near Theri Bypass in Sindh's Sukkur district of Pakistan.
  • According to the World Malnutrition Index Report, the Percentage of children who die from malnutrition in India is more than Nepal, SriLanka and China.

  • Famed Hollywood actress Meryl Streep, music icon Stevie Wonder and journalist Tom Brokaw are among the 19 Americans who would receive Presidential Medal of Freedom, the country’s highest civilian honour for their “extraordinary contributions“.
    • The awards will be presented on November 24 at the White House in a ceremony marking their achievements.

    A & B together together can complete a work in 12 days.A alone can complete it in 20 days.If B now does the work only for half a day daily, then number of days required to complete the work by A & B together is?

  5. Work taken by b is 20×12/8=30 days.. but works only half day so 60 days.. so a and b both witll b 20x60/80=15 days

  7. B alone can do a work in 30 days.Now if B does the work only for half a day daily means B alone can do a work in 60days.Now calculate the work done by both and A & B i.e (60*20)/(80)=15 days.

  14. the ques were direct like it was M>l=P<G and the set had 5 ques easy to ans,
    blood relation ques were in form of paragraph and one set had 5 ques so that was another plus point. we had ques regarding conclusions like statement one is enough or statement 2 is enough..............than had ques of all pen are pencils 5 ques..............ques was 8 friend on circular table 5 ques from this........and 5 ques from 8 people standing in parallel line some face north and some facing south .....................

Hi, can anybody pls tel me if the pattern for SBI PO and SBI ASSOCIATE PO are the same ? or any difference in type of questions asked ?.....can I prepare from even SBI PO previous years papers itself....or do I have to prepare separately from only SBI ASSOCIATE PO papers?....thanks in advance...and all the best for all your exams.
