Hi i am Anjali Singh from Ghaziabad (UP). The exam was overall difficult. Pattern was same as previous exams of po-IV. Total attempts can be 105-120 mine ws 107.
Section wise-
- Reasoning- two seating arrg puzzle one of linear arrangement facing both north and south and another was square table with two variables and one puzzle. inequality, syllogism was easy direct conclusion which doesnt follow has to be marked. 5 ques from data sufficiency two ques from direction and distance rest was logical.
- Quant- i cud only attempt 13 question it was very time consuming section. 20 marks DI 5 inequality 5 series...level was moderate-difficult
- GA - it was moderate some question from banking were deep from banking current affairs wre normal. 3 acronym asked, country capital,two genral knowledge ques etc
- English-it was moderate. two comprehension passage. passage was not easy to cmprehend rest it was easy section
- Computer- it was very easy section one can answer 18-20 very easily. Direct question wre there.

English passage was also time consuming rest is ok in English. GA was average and computer was very easy. Not satisfies with my performance in maths section. Ideal time can be 40 mins in quant, 40 mins in reasoning, 40 min in ENG+GA+COM.

eng go is too time taking passage related to economice,2 lengthy passages difficult, spotting errors 2-3 question. done 22
reasoning- too tough but input output is easy 5-6 questions,1st seating arrangement is easy can be done in 5-10 minutes,ds, and rest are time consuming
strong and weak arguments 5-8 questions (dint remember ) , syllogisms tricky coz pattern changed have to tick wrong one as answer so done only 19 :( i was just left with 40 minutes to do quant
1 question on ages,alligations,ci-si problems,verages,ds,DI too lengthy and calculations are time taking to solve , number series 5 questions, quant is little bit tough to attempt so done 19 in it
overall gk,computer are very easy eng-moderate

ReplyDeleteYes.. Reasoning, English were easy enough that one can attend 90+ from both the sections. GK was moderate...
ReplyDeleteMath: around 25 questions from trigonometry and mensuration.. So practice this section very well.. gud luck for SSC CGL aspirants..
In avg practice, 1 can attend 140+ in ssc .. I hav done 135.

They will ask some questions which is related with same thing but different qns like MICR 1 question like What is C for? 2.Checque truncation is based on which technology Ans MICR. Read banking related topics indepth

ReplyDeleteHey Friends, I have my IBPS PO exam on 1st Nov, 2014. But, i'm not able to find out the best strategy to tackle reasoning and Quant sections, as in the order in which i should attempt questions in order to save time and have a look at maximum possible questions.

Also, i actually started prepare for GK only a few days back, so i'm not very good in that area. That's y i'm just using this site's materials and questions to prepare. Will it be enough? Any suggestions are most welcome
reasoning:: first syllogism ,inequality, sitting arrangement , if input output is end type go through it and puzzle then etc wich u feel easy ......
