RBI Grade B Officers Recruitment 2014 Official Notification out

Friends, as we informed you earlier, the Reserve Bank of India has released recruitment notification for  the post of Officers in Gr ‘B’ (General)-DR. Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka with the intention of permanently settling in India and in whose favor Eligibility Certificates have been issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for these posts (check detailed eligibility criteria below). You can apply online from 3rd June 2014 to 23rd June 2014 by visiting RBI's website www.rbi.org.in. Check complete details below.

 Eligibility Criteria (As on 1st June 2014) :
  • Education :
    • A First Class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade OR
    • A Second Class Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade OR
    • A Doctorate Degree with 50% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade OR 
    • Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree OR
    • A Post Graduate Diploma in Management /MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India/ University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor's Degree.
  • Age :  21 to 30 years (should be born between 2nd June 1984 to 1st June 1993)
Application Fee :
  • For SC / ST / PWD Candidates : Rs. 100/-
  • For General and OBC Candidates : Rs. 850/-

      You will be posted in your own state Devi. As the RBI have its branches only in major cities (hardly one city per state), you wont be getting local posting.

  3. i have done engineering with 61% marks but in my state 61% is considered second class and my cpi or cgpa is 6.9 but my overall aggregate for the graduation is 61%.so plz tell me if i am eligible or not.i am a general candidate.

  5. khoon choos lo hum general candidates ka..850?? mazak samjha h kya?? ye gen ki vacancies nikalte hi q hain jab inhe sab sc/st hi chahiye to..bhaad me jao RBI HR department.Saalo jinki wajah se ye reservation system hai kabhi chain se nahi rahenge..kide padenge dekh lena..

  10. Its very Ridiculous , for SC/ST candidates fee is only Rs.100 and for others Rs.850 ! What a big difference. Is there any way to grab attention of RBI towards this thing .. General category people are not as rich as RBI is thinking of :) .. I have never seen 850 Rs. fee for any competitive examination .

  11. God save India!. Our children will pay taxes for existing on earth. Only people earning less than Rs.50/- per day are poor in India rest all can afford luxury.

  29. Mam....in the notification ..it is given a free pre training for sc/st/pwd...and a letter format is given...is that letter to be posted to the available centre dey gave or should we submit in personal?

  32. whether 850/- or 500/- or damn..1000/- also .. ... its not a new thing .. Candidate appearance will be here again as good as like a FISH MARKET .. no doubt .. (Exam Centre par jane k baad we all use to say "itni bheed kaha se aati hai") :P :P !!!! Competition is tough .. we have to face it .. Either IN or OUT ..!!!!!

  35. gr8 ambitionz site is awesom...Bankersadda is very very bekaar site....they always blok the persons who asked them for the corrections in ther questions..I am one of the victims..but here i have never seen , gr8 ambi putting any abusive language...lv gr8ambitionz....

  36. Please ask RBI why they take such kind of decision about fee for Gen category Rs. 850 & Rs.100 SC/St this wrong sign ? galat baat hey......cutoff bhi kam raheta hey SC / ST ka aur exam fee bhi??? General walo ne kya SC/ST walo pe kuch bada paap kiya hey kya??

  38. still we indians are not independent. As per our government to reservation system basis they indirectly stated that you blody general catagory people should not be going for a govt service. it is indicated that after some year whole country will driven by sc/st people only. for that again india war instead of world war will happen.

    do you know friends why general catagory will pay 850. because there are more than 50% of reserved catagory now in india and their fees will penalise to us . as per growth of reservation catagory the penalty also getting increased and their fee remain same.

  43. Do one think RBI Should charge ? Rs. 350 for Phase I and those who pass for Phase II Charge them Rs. 350 & those who pass for Phase III interview charge them Rs. 250/- so it will be justice & SC/ST Phase I - Rs.100 / Phase II - Rs. 150 / Phase III - Rs. 50 or 100 so may be it will be Justice in Competitive Exam !

  46. RBI IS DOING ECONOMIC EXPLOITATION AND DISCRIMINATION OF UNEMPLOYED YOUTH.......

    RBI GRADE B OFFICER EXAM FEE IN 2011 WAS Rs.100 ONLY..
    RBI GRADE B OFFICER EXAM FEE IN 2013 WAS Rs.400 ONLY..

    RBI GRADE B OFFICER EXAM FEE IN 2014 IS Rs.850........WHAT THE HELL????? ARE THEY NOT INCREASING INFLATION......WHAT IS THE BASIS OF SUCH A HUGE AMOUNT OF FEE???........HOW CAN THE JUSTIFY IT.???.......
