Miss Venezuela, Gabriela Isler crowned
Miss Universe 2013 on Saturday, marking the seventh contest win for the South American country during a glittering ceremony at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. Gabriela Isler, whose full name is Maria Gabriela de Jesus Isler Morales, works on Venezuela's Venevision television, and as a flamenco dancer.
Last year's winner Olivia Culpo from United States of America handed over her diamond crown to Isler, who looked stunning in a silver rhinestone studded evening dress. “I have a lot of emotions. I can’t describe all the things that I feel at this moment because I’m shaking,” she said. Meanwhile, Spain's Patricia Yurena Rodriguez came second, while Constanza Baez from Ecuador secured the 3rd place, while India's contender Manasi Moghe could only make it to the top ten. The last time an Indian won the Miss Universe title was Lara Dutta in 2000.
