Gagan Narang wins a bronze medal in 10m air rifle event in London Olympics. Narang form can be gauged from the fact that he won two silvers at Guangzhou Asian Games in 2010 after winning a bagful of gold medals at 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games. He won four golds in total in Delhi, two each in 10m Air Rifle and 50m Rifle 3 Positions.

Narang is among the three shooters who have shot a perfect 600/600 in the 10m Air Rifle event - a world record. He has shot the perfect score twice, the only shooter to achieve the feat so far.

Narang also won a massive five gold medals in the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in 2006.
