Hi frnds ,  I Saurav Ranu from Dehradun attended the IBPS PO 2nd shift today . Exam was ( I wud say ) moderate to difficult . I started with GA section invested 12mins attempted 27 . This time my plan was to start Aptitude after GK so I followed with it, Invested 35 mins & done 14 questions. Thereafter I did computer 19 attempted. Then English only 20 attempted :( . I had 50 mins in total , started with Reasoning spent 35 mins n solved 28. Last 15mins I did Aptitude again, solved 8 more questions in 15mins. So in total I attempted 116.

  • GK was moderate with a mix of Current Affairs & Banking Awareness. Attempted 27.
  • Aptitude was moderate to difficult. Not that much difficult as I heard from students & read in reviews . DI was not difficult ( not at all of SBI PO level ) I did 15 questions from DI , 4 equations ( easy ) , 1 CI-SI questions ( easy ) & 2 Series ( difficult) . So in total 22 questions.
  • Computer was dead easy . Attempted 19 , all of them are correct.
  • English I found the most difficult . English is not my weakness but I found it tricky. I spent 15mins & done 20 questions ( very less to my expectations ) . Jumble was on EBOLA Crisis I did it but wasn't sure so cancelled my answers :p . I did one passage ( on African Economy ) . Error spotting was easy. Cloze test was moderate.
  • Reasoning was also only moderate to difficult. First time I didnt attempt any Puzzle ( there were 3 of them ) . Input output , Assumptions , Syllogism , Direction etc were easy. I attempt 28 in 35 mins.

  43. Atleast 110 with accuracy . But I'm targeting 130. Hope for the Best :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. when is result expected

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hmm I'm guarantee failing this IBPS PO exam 2014 .Could not attempt Math section properly with only 4 attempts ,since my time ran out.IBPS OR SBI PO exam conducting authorities should not commit unfair tyrrany or act of terrorism in disguise or excuse of being competitive.Honestly be real!!!2 hours is never good enough time limit for 200 questions .Plus why are you people concerned with marks cut off .You know for real that all theses years IBPS OR SBI have only called people for interview who have scored a golden tally of more than 60% accuracy in merit ,i.e way above the individual sectional and aggregate marks cut off range. So the bottomline is that this entire system of examination is totally flawed .If any1 agrees give me a HI 5?!

    ReplyDelete
  46. At least learn how to reply. BTW your planning was good and your scores too :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. lol dude , 2 hours is same for everyone .

  49. yar tumne ek quants me inequality ka ques kia tha jisme 144 ke factors niaklne the but woh solve nahi ho raha tha

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Nitin bro I agree entirely 2 hours time frame is parallel across for every 1 .But the sunny crux of the concern here is that 95%& 99% of the candidates who fall prey to these exams in the blues are tormented ,agitated in reality ,who are not able to give justice to their efforts that go in preparing for these exams .IBPS for RRB CWE PO general candidates grants 2 hours 30 minutes . Are you kidding me? where level of difficulty of exams is reasonably fair across the board. I am not against negative marking system, let the authorities hold that card in their favour ,but atleast do some justice for candidates by increasing our exam time limit to atleast 15 minutes above 2 hours.??!What's the use of knowing every possible concept of English verbal /Quantitative /Logical reasoning Aptitude ??when people can't execute them in that unfair time span of 2 hours .Really preposterous ! Plus then being harrowed by high marks cut off .People hoping to receive a call for interview in banks that lingers till eternity !!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yes I did that Ric. And you are 100% correct , wo solve nhi ho rha tha so I left it after trying.
