My Batch comprised of 12 candidates . Everyone were given 2 minutes to put forth their points . If you exceed the time limit, you will be interrupted by the panelist and then they will proceed to the next candidate. After the completion of first round, i.e. if all the candidates have spoken and if anyone wishes to provide new points . He/She will be given one minute.
Just make sure that you put forth new points and do not reiterate the points that were discussed earlier by other candidates . It will have a negative effect on your selection/marks . Be brief in what you wish to say, precise to the point :)
Interviews were scheduled after Lunch (Free Lunch from SBI :P).

- Why you chose BTech IT ?
- What is ur designation in ur current company ?
- What is ur package ?
- What is the package SBI PO would offer ?
- Why people are switching from IT to Bank ?
- (Questions that were asked hereon where from the points that i had given in GD)
- So be prepared my friends of what you choose to speak on GD. You will be grilled on it during your interview .
- What is fiscal deficit ?
- How is it represented ?
- What additional value will you provide if you join our bank ?
- Why not IT Officer Scale 2 ?

1) what is the recent issue in NLC (since im from Neyveli)?
2) why do you want to leave your IT job and join our bank?
3) what are the borders of Tamilnadu?
4) what is pondicherry famous for?
5) To whom is mercy petitions submitted?
6) present president?
7) what was he doing earlier?
8) present finance minister?
9) what was he doing earlier?
10) who was the governor of RBI during 1990-2000? (i replied manmohan singh)
11) what was he doing earlier?
12) who was the first governor of RBI?
OBC candidates without community certificate were not allowed to attend gd / pi .
Their session was rescheduled to 11th. So friends please take all the required materials.

is it compulsory to conduct GD only in english language or we can use any language.......
