SBI is most popular bank for Online Transactions : Study

According to a study by the Integrated Caller ID Service Provider, Truecaller, The State Bank of India (SBI) is the most popular bank for Online Transactions. Truecaller conducted this study using a new messaging feature that counts specific number series banks use to send messages to their customers for confirming transactions.

The State Bank of India (SBI) emerged biggest bank with 30% of users followed by HDFC Bank (14% of users). Global banks such as Citi Bank and Standard Chartered accounted for mere 1 per cent of the total transaction volume.
