  • The 41-nation Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) pledged to wipe out terrorism at its first meeting today. 
    • Under the alliance formed in 2015, nations will assist each other in providing military force, financial aid, material or security expertise in the fight against terrorism. Iran, Iraq and Syria are not a part of the alliance.

    • They will assist frontline health care providers — general practitioners, gynaecologists, nurses and others — who may directly receive victim of sexual abuse or may identify sexual abuse during course of diagnosis and treatment.

Hello there, I am Aman. Hope all of you doing well in your RBI Assistants Preliminary Exam 2017. The exams are not yet been completed but there has been a great deal of speculation about the expected cutoffs of the aforesaid exam. The cutoffs of RBI Assistants Prelims 2017 totally depends on the vacancies, the region which you have applied for and performance of the aspirants who have apeared for the exam. So it will be waste of time bothering about the expected cutoffs. Here I am sharing the official cutoff details of last year's rbi assistants preliminary exam 2016. South Africa's Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is Miss Universe 2017

The 66th Miss Universe 2017 pageant was held today at The AXIS, Las Vegas, United States. 22 year old South African model, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was crowned Miss Universe 2017 by beating out 91 other candidates during the finals. She hails from Western Cape Province and recently earned a business management degree from North-West University. She previously was crowned Miss South Africa 2017.

Outgoing Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere crowned Nel-Peters with the $250,000 pearl-encrusted Mikimoto crown. With this, Peters becme the second Miss Universe winner from South Africa, following Miss Universe 1978 Margaret Gardiner.

Colombia's Laura Gonzalez placed first runner-up, and Jamaica's Davina Bennett was second runner-up. Shraddha Shashidhar, who is an Indian model and winner of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2017, represented India but couldn't make it to the top 16.

SBI's FLIP Certification Course for Probationary Officers (POs) 2017

As part of the pre-joining induction, for the batch of Probationary Officers (PO) 2017, the State Bank of India is conducting an online certification course in association with  Finitiatives Learning India Pvt. Ltd (FLIP).  This program covers basics of Finance and an overview of Banking Business. The learner will be taken through various Modules relating to channels of retail banking business, ayments methods, types of accounts, retail loans overview, corporate Banking, third-party products and compliance, trade and forex, etc.A weightage of 100 marks will be given for completion of this Course.
This online course along with the test should be completed by 29.12.2017. In case the candidate is unable to complete within that time, an extension of 30 days will be given on request. In any case, the course should be completed within 30 days of joining the Bank.
