HDFC Bank is India’s top brand, SBI is 3rd : BrandZ Top 50 report 2017

The BrandZ Top 50 Most Valuable Indian Brands 2017 was announced today by WPP and Kantar Millward Brown. For the fourth year in a row, India’s second largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank has turned out to be India’s most valuable brand.

The bank has improved its brand value from USD 9.4 billion to USD 18 billion since 2014. HDFC Bank's brand value is estimated at $17.97 billion, followed by Airtel at $10.23 billion.

Banks and telcos dominated the listing. Airtel stood at the 2nd position while State Bank of India (SBI) is on 3rd place. There are 5 Banks in the Top 10.

The highest ranked new entrant on the list is Reliance Jio, which has been ranked at 11.  Other new entrants included DMart, appliance brand Whirlpool, insurance brand Bajaj Allianz, Canara Bank and entertainment brands Sun Direct and DishTV.

HDFC is one of the worst bank in our nation it's rules and policies are all looting customers earned money and disappointing low and mid level employees by giving unbalanced job targets forcefully irrespective of salary...its only motive is business unlike business plus service provided by other banks..
