Educational Qualification :
  • Parliamentary Interpreter (English/ Hindi)
    • Master's degree from a recognised university in English with medium of Hindi Language up to degree level or Master's degree in Hindi with medium of English Language up to degree level.
  • Parliamentary Interpreter (Odia)
    • Master’s degree from a recognised university in any discipline with Odia up to degree level.
  • Assistant Legislative/ Committee/ Protocol/ Executive Officer
    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Stenographer (English)
    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline and possessing a minimum Shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. in English.
  • Security Assistant Grade-II
    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Secretariat Assistant (English)
    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline and possessing a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English on computer. Preference will be given to persons having typing speed of 40 w.p.m. both in English and Hindi.
  • Secretariat Assistant (Hindi)
    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline and possessing a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in Hindi on computer. Preference will be given to persons having typing speed of 40 w.p.m. both in English and Hindi.
  • Secretariat Assistant (Urdu)
    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline and possessing a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in Urdu on computer.
  • Translator
    • Master's degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level; or Master's degree in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level; or Master's degree in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects at the degree level, from a recognised university; and 
    • Diploma/ Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa.
  • Proof Reader
    • Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with English or Hindi as a subject; and
    • Diploma in Printing Technology or P.G. Diploma in Book Publishing from any Institute approved by AICTE; or 3 years experience of working in any Printing Press/ Publishing House in a salaried post duties of which mainly involve proof reading.

  • For Parliamentary Interpreter (English/Hindi), Parliamentary Interpreter (Odia), Translator and Proof Reader Posts :
    • 18 to 35 years
  • For remaining posts
    • 18 to 30 years

  • Rs. 300/-
  • SCs, STs, Persons with Disability, Females and Ex-Servicemen are not required to pay any fee.

  1. Please provide us with an article on how to prepare for the above exam. The level of difficulty and materials to be referred for the preparation etc would be useful if mentioned.
