Success Story of Allahabad Bank PO - Soham Guha

I (Soham Guha)  never thought of sharing any such success story with all of you but eventually I have started scribbling down.

I pursued my graduation in engineering from a private college in Kolkata and  completed it in 2013.Even I was absorbed  by a renowned MNC  from my college campusing  which I joined in 2014 April. But never really did I desire to be in the private sector, not even in a MNC. So I thought to take preparations for govt service but could not start before April 2015.After nearly 1 year in service much to the chagrin of everyone  I took a LOP(Loss of pay) from the company which was a boon for my preparations.

At first I did not get any support from anyone except one of my very close friends and my uncle and my mother. The 1st exam in which I qualified was WBCS prelims but due to lack of preparations I did not go for the mains. The next 3 exams on the line were SBI PO, RBI assistant and SSC  CGL. I qualified in all the 3 exams. For the 1st  exam ie SBI PO  I only missed it by less than 2 marks. The final cut off was 58.93 for
UR category and I succeeded in getting 57.15. Anyways moving forward I qualified in RBI Assistant online exam from Kolkata region but could secure only 15 marks in interview and for SSC Cgl mains-I did not appear. In the meantime I took a huge step by resigning from the MNC without securing any job much to the disappointment of my  “ well wishers”. The next exams on the line  were much awaited IBPS RRB and IBPS PO. Now the morning of 1st January 2016  brought with it the 1st good news of provisional allotment in Bangiya Grameen Bank (RRB) in Class 1 officer just 2 days before IBPS Clerk exam and the slow but steady steps counted on till the provisional allotment in clerical cadre in Indian Bank and PO in Allahabad Bank.

I still have an interview of LIC AAO left in May. I am highly indebted to GR8ambitionz  for their immense help in my preparations and also to one my very close friends who introduced me to GR8ambitionz. I sincerely thank all of my family members and my friends and last but not least “my well wishers”  for their constant help. To add to this I should say that I don’t believe in God. So unlike others my constant source of motivation were music (especially songs of Kabir Suman) and theatre ( being an ardent watcher of plays).

With this I conclude and heartily wish all of u for your future and hope to see many of you as my colleagues in the coming days. THANK YOU.
