Shortcut to Find Cube root (1 to 100)

Hello friends :-) I'm Kani, here I'm sharing the shortcut method to find Cube root from 1 to 100.

First we have to memorise Cube of 1 to 10. Then it will be very easy to find Cube roots of number from 1 to 100.

1^3=1.

2^3=8.

3^3=27.

4^3=64.

5^3=125.

6^3=216.

7^3=343.

8^3=512.

9^3=729.

10^3=1000.

Here we could see that except 2,3,7and 8 the other numbers are having one's place(unit place) as the same.. For 2^3 the unit place is 8, for 8^3 the unit place is 2. Similarly for 3^3 the unit place is 7 and for 7^3 the unit place is 3. Just we have to remember these things.

Example 1 : 3√13824 = ans '24'.

Step 1 :  put comma after 3 numbers from the right hand side 13,824. Now see the last 3 numbers 824, the unit place of this number is 4 so we can put 4 in our answer's unit place.

Step 2 : now see 13. 13 is between 2^3 and 3^3. Take the smaller one here 2^3 is smaller so we can put 2 in our answer's ten's place .

Finally the answer is 24.

Example 2: 3√389017 = ans 73.

Step 1 : 389,017. The last number is 7 so we should put 3 in our answer's unit place.

Step 2 : 389 is between 7^3 and 8^3. The smaller is 7^3. So we should put 7 in our answer's ten's place.

Finally the answer is 73.

Example 3: 3√941192 = ans 98.

Step 1 : 941,192. Here the last number is 2 so we should put 8 in our answer's unit place.

Step 2 : 941 is between 9^3 and 10^3. The smaller is 9^3. So we should put 9 in our answer's ten's place.

Finally the answer is 98.
