  10. Hard-won - Gained through hard work.
  11. Cannot afford - Cannot bear.
  12. Prospect - Expectation.
  13. Verdict - Result.
  14. Discourse - Conversation.
  15. Courtesy - Formal way.
  16. Foes - Enemies.
  17. Retreating - Act of withdrawing.
  18. Whims - Odd opinion / Unpredictable opinion.

  20. Congregation - People or Polical persons gathered in a particular place.
