The American business magazine Forbes has announced its 12th annual World’s 100 Most Powerful Women list. German Chancellor Angela Merkel topped this list for the fifth consecutive year, followed by presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (No. 2), Melinda Gates (No. 3), U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen (No. 4), and General Motors CEO Mary Barra (No. 5). Four Indian woman have managed to get into this list.They are, SBI Chief Arundhati Bhattacharya, ICICI bank head Chanda Kochhar, Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and HT Media Chair Shobhana Bhartia.
