IBPS Clerk IV Interview Experience shared by Priya (Hyderabad)

Hi guys!!

Firstly i would like to thank gr8ambz for the gr8 job that they are doing of helping us aspirants to achieve our dreams and secondly thanks to all you lovely people out there who share your experience with us. Thirdly I am glad finally i can share my interview experience with u ppl   :P 

so heres how it goes

Name : Priya

Venue : Andhra bank apex college

Date : 16 feb 2015

Time : 1 PM

so i reached the venue at around 12:45 and we were taken inside and given a blank ppr to write a topic of our choice in the local language then verification started.

we had to arrange our originals and xerox documents in the following order:

• Appl form
• id proof
• 10/12/grad memos(plz take ur semester wise memos as well as consolidated memo to be on  the safe side)
• provisional certificate
• degree certificate
• caste certificate
• call letter
• essay ppr

Plz get the required documents. (they rejected 2 candidates as the D.O.B was diff in the appl form and in their birth cerft...and another dint have the semester wise original due to backlogs)

few candidates were done with the verification and they were sent for the interview. remaining were asked to go for lunch at about 1:30pm. my turn came at 4:30pm

5interviewers in my panel.4 men and 1 lady.

all of them were very sweet.and  the questions are

1. u studied in english medium? y dint u go for PO? did u apply last year also for these exams?

2. tell us about your educational qualification? wen did u pass out? wat were u doing since then?

3. what did u prepare for interview? so that we can ask u in that subject oly

4.what is a bank?

5. what are its functions?

6. can u read local langage?- (i answered yes but he dint give me the newspaper to read :P)

7. tell about your family

8. who are arundhati battacharya, chandha kocchar, shikha sharma, Usha Ananthasubramaniam, VR Iyer?

9. whom do u idolise among them? n why?

10.  in which bank u have account?

11.which account?

12.how is the interest on savings bank acc calculated explain?

13.what is NEFT, RTGS?

14.who is the CM of haryana?

15. how many marks are u expecting in the  written exam?

my interview went on for about 15-20mins.. 

the male members of the panel were asking the questions and the lady was observing my body language.. wen i got stuck in between she was helping me out. do not b tensed as the panel members are very friendly... then they said okay all the best! and i was out

so guys relax! if u know the answer tell it confidently if not tell i dont sir confidently :P the panel members are trying very hard to make u comfortable by talking to u in the local language. u can answer the bank related answers in english by asking permission, no problem.
