Reached the venue at 12:45 PM

After document verification interview started at 2:50 and lasted for 15 minutes.

Panel of 5 members (4 man of very aged & 1 young lady)

Summary:

Entered and greeted them and they offered me to sit.

m1 (head): How r u? Khana khaya ya intvw ke liye wait kar rahe the?

m1:kuch apne ware main batayo so that we can know about you well & start our conversation.

m1: Why does u wanna leave your job as you are 3 years exp in IT in a reputed MNC & you may have good reorganization over there?

m1: Why bank?

m1: How engg  (Computer science) can help for this job profile?

m1: If technical persons like you join banks then how the IT industry runs & what’ll happen to the normal graduates?

L: Why do some people say that this good bank & this is not?

L & M2: Why such perception?

L: Why PNB as 1st choice?

m2: What is recession?

m2: Why it happen in US & Europe?

m2: Thank god as if now we don't have such kind of scenario in our country.

What has happened during recession in your company?

m3: If apart of their strengths & Weakness if all the nationalized banks are equal in operation then why 20+ banks are there.

We can merge them to 4-5 banks. What's your opinion on that?

m4: Another hypothetical question for you sir. If you are free to join any kind of job whether its bank or civil service or whatever what'll you do & why?

m4: Are you preparing for civil services?

m4: Why not? Why not other got jobs? Why banks (asked for 2nd time)?

M1 followed by m2, m4: That's all from our side. You can leave now & wished me luck.

I thanked them & left.

For me it’s a kind of HR round. No banking terms and current affairs.
