- India and Japan sign Kyoto-Varanasi partnership agreement
- The partnership, which focuses on how to preserve heritage while building smart cities, was signed between Kyoto Mayor Daisaku Kadokawa and India's Ambassador to Japan Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa.

- Email turned 32 today, this quick method of message transfer was invented by Indian American V A Shiva Ayyadurai when he was just 14.

- Renowned Indian historian and writer Dr Bipan Chandra, author of India’s Struggle for Independence and India Since Independence, has passed away.
- He was Padma Bhushan awardee.
- He was appointed Chairman of the National Book Trust, New Delhi in 2004 and held the post until 2012.

ReplyDeleteHello friends, I have appeared in morning session exam on 30 Aug 14. The paper was quite easy except for some tricky questions in GK and marketing part. QA and Reasoning was quite simple. English was damn easy. I could attempt 159 questions. Let us see how much score I get finally.

ReplyDeleteexam was on 31st Aug...exam was moderate to tough.....QA was lengthy & very much calculative.... in GI puzzles were very complicated...even sitting arrangements were too...English was easy to moderate...computer & marketing were too easy to moderate... GA was as usual... moderate... my attempt total 140...(.accuracy god knows...)

ReplyDeleteno i was not selected in the overall process....it was my 1st po attempt and i just qualified for written and attended for gd and interview....they will call for interview if u do well or not in gd..but u should do well in gd bcz there is individual qualifying marks for both gd\pi...and last year my topic is WILL INDIA BECOME A SUPREME POWER WITHIN 2020 ...i didnt perform in gd well as a result my interview lasted for only 1 and half minute not selected....BUT this year i m trying hard for gd to get job as i having good marks...so try to do well in gd as it translates ur confidence into interview..all d best

i thought "ssc.nic.in" was main website for declaring this type of stuff ...i couldn't find anything regarding dates of ssc cgl 2014...and i did not find on other regions website as well...
what does this batch II mean? is it lowering of cut-off marks and letting the reserve candidates in till a certain score or the candidates who were inducted for the first time first list training ??? please reply me gr8ambitionz experts ............ thanks in advance !!!
