  • Market Leader : A company that sells more goods of a specific type than any other company.
    • A brand of goods that sells more than any other of its kind.
  • Market Letter : A publication containing information concerning marketing conditions, expectations, etc., especially one produced by a securities brokerage firm or other financial organization.
  • Market Order : An order to buy or sell a specified amount of security at the best price available.
  • Market Place : The open space in a town, etc in which a market is held.

  • Market Price : The price for which a thing can be sold, and is being sold, at a particular time.

  • Market Research : Study and analysis of the habits, needs and preferences of customers, often in regard to a particular product or service.
    • The gathering and studying of data relating to consumer preferences, purchasing power, etc., especially prior to introducing a product on the market.
  • Market Share : The specific percentage of total industry sales of a particular product achieved by a single company in a given period of time.
  • Market Value : The value of a business, property, etc., in terms of what it can be sold for in the open market.
  • Marketer : Someone who seeks a response (attention, a purchase, a vote, a domination) from another party, called the prospect.
  • Marketing : Process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational goals.
  • Marketing Channels : Sets of interdependent organizations involved in the process of making a product or service available for sue or consumption.
  • Marketing Information System (MIS) : People, equipment and procedures to gather, sort, analyze, evaluate and distribute information to marketing decisions makers.
  • Marketing Management : The art and science of choosing target markets and getting, keeping and growing customers through creating, delivering and communicating superior customer value.
  • Marketing Opportunity : An area of buyer need and interest in which there is a high probability that a company can profitably satisfy that need.

  2. mam...i have been selected for bob as a clerk where they have mentioned the salary like 7200 , i will get 15000 apprx..........and for post office assistant my exam was excellent ......so should i go for post office or for bank.............as i had come to know the salary more than 25000 for metros .....plz suggest
